They are living in a house that they are renting from a friend. Currently, he has all his stuff there furnishing the house, so they are using his things.
Please keep in mind that their style is earthy and vintage, and they love things they find in thrift stores.
Things to decorate their home (which Amanda is excited to do):
- earthen looking pottery would be good (a vase, a bowl, etc.)
- towels, neutral colors
*Most of their stuff is borrowed from the current owner of the house that they are renting. So, to ask them they don't really need anything, but nothing really belongs to them.
- bakeware (such as CorningWare)
- Spice Rack
- Kitchen towels
- Cutting board (they do not need knives)
- Serving bowls (keep in mind earthy, vintage)
Other
- Tools for Aaron (most of his were burned in the fire a couple of years ago)
- Yard tools : They are excited to plant a garden. They have lots of land with several trees and brush around their house that will need to be cleared, etc.
If you have questions, feel free to call Andy's Amanda or email her (info on invitation). Debbie would also be a good resource.
We call the cutting board!! -sam and karen
ReplyDeleteA set of dishes! (Tom/Debbie)
ReplyDeleteDo you think they would like cast iron pans that could be used outdoors as well, or more easy to use pans? We have both but our daily lives do not always require heavy duty. Input, please? We will get pans. (D&JFuller)
ReplyDeleteDinah/John - I talked to Debbie. She thinks they might have a dutch oven for camping/cooking. They would use the pans more, although a small cast iron skillet would be nice...
